Big Cypress Command

The Big Cypress Reservation is located directly in the middle of the Florida Everglades. Jurisdictional boundaries on the Big Cypress Reservation include three different counties; Hendry, Collier, and Broward counties. The main road that runs directly through Big Cypress is County Road 833, also known as Snake Road and Josie Billie Hwy. The Billie Swamp Safari hosts the Big Cypress Casino. The Big Cypress Reservation has a preschool, and a school which encompasses the elementary, middle, and high school, health clinic, and a recreation facility. County Road 833 is located at mile marker 49 off of I-75. This road is often traveled by tractor trailers and tourists.

Many of the roads are no more than dirt trails and are susceptible to flooding at times. There are several tourist attractions such as the Billie Swamp Safari, Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum, two gift shops; the Seminole Gift Shop & the Big Cypress Landing, and the Seminole Big Cypress Campground RV resort.

Immokalee Command

The Seminole Police Department provides law enforcement services to the Immokalee community. Other ancillary services provided to support our communities needs include criminal investigations, youth services, threat response units and support services.

The Reservation is a self-contained community that provides a number of services to the Seminole people to include, governmental offices, housing, medical, family services, recreational facilities, veteran affairs, water resource management, and a preschool. The police department also provides public safety services to the Seminole Casino located on the reservation which supports the growing infrastructure for the community’s health and welfare, public safety, education and other services. The casino is a destination for residents and tourists who reside in the surrounding counties and is the primary business on this reservation.
